RACE 1 – Pony Junior Field Master Chase – Post time 10:00 AM
Small, Medium, Large

RACE 2 – Small Pony Flat Race – Trophy to the winner.  Post time 10:30 AM
Open to Ponies 12.2 hands and under. Children under 13 years of age as of January 1, 2023. Trophy and a prize to the winner. About ¼ mile on the flat.

RACE 3 – Medium Pony Flat Race – Trophy to the winner.  Post time 10:45 AM
Open to ponies 12.2 to 13.2 hands. Children under 16 years of age as of January 1, 2023. This race will run immediately following the Small Pony Flat. Trophy and prize to the winner. About ½ mile on the flat.

RACE 4 – Large Pony Flat Race – Trophy to the winner.  Post time 11:00 AM
Open to ponies 13.2 to 14.2 hands. Children under 16 years of age as of January 1, 2023. This race will run immediately following the Medium Pony Flat. Trophy and prize to the winner. About ¾ mile on the flat.

RACE 5 – Lead Line Pony Race – Trophy to the winner.  Post Time 11:30 AM
Open to ponies 14.2 and under. Riders who have not reached their 7th birthday as of January 1, 2023. All ponies must have a lead line attached to the bridle and must be accompanied by an adult. About 50 yards. Walk or trot; entries breaking from a trot must go behind the last entry in the field before continuing or may be disqualified. Riders must wear ASTM-approved helmets; overgirths and protective vests are strongly encouraged. Racing silks are encouraged, riding attire accepted. Trophy and prize to the winner.

RACE 6 – Junior Field Master Chase – Trophy to the winner.  Post time 12:00 PM
Riders not to have reached their 16th birthday as of the first of the current year. Catch weights. Mounts to be a minimum of five years old and not to have started in a jump race ridden by a non-junior rider after January 1, 2022. Riders to follow the Field Master over a flagged course. After the last fence, the Field Master will release the field to race to the finish line. Entries may be asked to queue or circle at any point. Proper hunting or race attire accepted. The use of whips is strictly prohibited. Non-thoroughbreds should be declared at time of entry. All riders must meet the qualifications of the Junior, and Young Rider, Pony, and Field Master Chase Conditions. Trophy to TB and non-TB.

RACE 7 – The H. Brooks Durkee Memorial Trophy – Post time 1:30 PM
Maiden Timber. Open to horses which have never won over timber, to be ridden by riders. About three miles over fair hunt country. Weight 165 lbs.

RACE 8 – The Margerite du Pont de Villiers Boden Ladies Timber Race – Post time 2:00 PM
Open to horses 5 years old and up, to be ridden by Lady Riders, acceptable to the committee. About three miles over fair hunt country. Weight 150 lbs.

RACE 9 – The Allaire du Pont Bowl – Amateur Apprentice Riders – Post time 2:30 PM
Open to Horses 5 years old and up, to be ridden by Amateur and Apprentice riders, acceptable to the committee. About three miles over fair hunt country. Weight 165 lbs.

RACE 10 – The Wicomico Hunt Cup – Post time 3:00 PM
Open Timber. Open to horses 5 years old and up. Riders acceptable to the committee. About three miles over fair hunt country. Weight 165 lbs.

RACE 11 – The Mill Cup – Post time 3:45 PM
Amateur Apprentice Flat. To be ridden by amateur and apprentice riders, acceptable to the committee. 3 years old and up. Three year olds, 145 lbs; Four year olds and up, 150 lbs. Horses that have won a race under rules since January 1, 2022, 5 lbs extra, winners of two races or more since January 1, 2022, 10 lbs. extra. Riders who have never won a race (flat or jumps) allowed 5 lbs. About one mile on the flat. This race will be split as Maidens and Winners if deemed advisable by the committee.

Points are awarded in the Delaware Valley Point-to-Point Series, and the Maryland Steeplechase Association Governor’s Cup Series.

There will be a $500 leading trainer bonus, applicable for races seven through eleven, awarded by points, 5 points for a win, 3 for second, 2 for third.
